Born in London but now living in Glasgow, Rory has spent his career working in housing policy, campaigns and public affairs in a range of roles.
These have included being the housing policy lead at the National Union of Students and working as an independent housing policy consultant.
Rory now works in the policy team at the National Housing Federation, the trade body for English housing associations, leading their policy work on decarbonisation.
Rory has also previously been a board member at the University of Liverpool and chair of the board at Liverpool Guild of Students.
Rory joined the Board in September 2024.
