Keep you and your home safe

Everyone can take simple steps to make sure you are keeping your home safe from fire, it is essential that your home has a working smoke alarm on each level of your property, if you dont think your smoke alarm is working please let us know ASAP by contacting us by email at cvha@cvha.org.uk or by calling 01698 268 855

Did you know that if you, or someone you know if over 50years old, smokes and either lives alone, has mobility issues or uses medical oxygen the Fire and Rescue service will undertake Home FIre Safety visit.  You can either call direct or have someone make the call on your behalf, you can find contact details by clicking here

As we approach the festive season it is more important than ever to make sure we keep ourselves and our loved ones safe, this includes simple steps like not leaving any cooking unattended, making sure you put out candles before going to bed and unplugging fairly lights.  For further steps you can take please take 10minutes to read the guidance from the Fire & Rescue service here
