Carron joined Clyde Valley in March 2018 leading the Group’s Finance and Corporate Services function and was appointed Chief Executive in August 2023.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Carron worked previously as Group Finance Director at Our Power, a start-up, not-for-profit energy supply company founded by social housing organisations. She was successful in raising over £10m in social finance from various trusts and foundations, including a £4.5m Social Purpose bond, the largest of its kind for social enterprise across the UK.
Having previously worked as Director of Finance and Corporate Services and Interim CEO at West of Scotland Housing Association leading on the development of the successful sustainable communities strategy and prior to that spending 17 years in senior roles at the Wise Group, an organisation tackling social inequalities across communities.
In addition, Carron is the Board Chair of Spruce Carpets Ltd.
