Alan has over 17 years banking experience, of which 14 years has been dedicated to specialising in the Housing Association sector. Alan is currently responsible for a housing portfolio with debt exposure of over £1.4 billon, with a customer base including some of the largest housing associations operating across the UK. Alan’s current Relationship Director role at the Royal Bank of Scotland involves lending, debt restructuring, negotiating facility agreements (including sustainability linked loans), financial analysis, asset and treasury management. Alan has a BA Hons in Retail Management along with a Chartered Banker Diploma in Lending Skills.
Alan joined CVHA as a co-opted member in November 2022 and has been a full board member since September 2023.
