Covid-19 Tier 4 guidance: 20th November to 11th December

As per Government guidance we are now in a Tier 4 lockdown for the next 3 weeks.  

Our offices remain closed and our staff continue to work from home providing a full service.  We want to assure you that over the next three weeks we will be running business as usual as much as possible but ensuring the health and safety of you, as our customers, and our staff is our highest priority.

Routine Repairs 

We will continue to provide all routine repairs on the basis that we see ourselves as providing essential works and services.  Our repairs team will continue to make the usual covid checks with you when they call and will double check that you are comfortable for contractors or technical officers to enter your home.

Should any of our staff be entering your home, you should expect the following:

  • Our staff and Contractors will wear the appropriate PPE while in your home
  • Our staff and Contractors will ask you before entering your home if you have any symptoms or are self-isolating 
  • Our staff will politely ask you if you can socially distance and if possible isolate within another part of your home while any inspections works are carried out 

Planned Maintenance Contracts

-       We have a small number of homes where we are doing planned maintenance, we will be confirming with individual customers if they are comfortable for us to continue, whilst at all times complying with health and safety guidance.

Estate Managment 

At this time, and in particular whilst we are in Tier 4, our staff are not able to have the same presence in our closes and estates. If you note any discarded items or have any cause for concern, please contact us on cvha@cvha.org.uk or 01698 688030 for us to resolve the matter for you.

Mutual Exchanges

In line with Scottish Government advice to minimise non-essential contact and travel and protect our customers, we have suspended Mutual Exchanges whilst we are in Tier 4 and these will resume when we move back into Tier 3.
